Biography

Born in Szabadka (formerly in Hungary), Yugoslavia. Immigrated to Canada in 1967. Lives and works in Saint-Lazare since establishing Atelier de céramique Agnes Zóni in 1981. Her interest in art has been apparent since early adulthood. The many ceramic, pottery and porcelain courses and workshops in which she has participated are indicative of the continuing interest she has in this art medium. Instruction in all forms of drawing, painting, history of art and the many techniques have formed the pathway to the innovative and creative styles in her work today. She exposed her work in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, Ste-Hyacinthe, Boucherville, Columbus, OH (where she won an award) and Fort Worth, TX
