Exhibitions in Canada and the United States<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D\u00e9marche<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;aquarelle, m\u00e9dium que j\u2019ai choisi pour l&rsquo;expression artistique, permet la cr\u00e9ation de tableaux lumineux, spontan\u00e9s et vibrants. Mes aquarelles saisissent l&rsquo;\u00e9motion du moment, ressentie devant le sujet et \u00e9voquent parfois d&rsquo;autres \u00e9motions semblables ou propres \u00e0 ceux qui les regardent. Mon approche est simple et intuitive, je me laisse toucher par la beaut\u00e9 qui m\u2019entoure. Je suis particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ress\u00e9e par la lumi\u00e8re et ses effets, les contrastes marqu\u00e9s. Mes sujets privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s sont le paysage, qu\u2019il soit intimiste ou grandiose; les sc\u00e8nes de rue, tranquilles ou encore vivantes et enjou\u00e9es; les architectures et tout ce qui attire mon attention et pique ma curiosit\u00e9. Je travaille dans mon studio d\u2019apr\u00e8s des photos que je prends moi-m\u00eame. Lorsque je voyage, je photographie beaucoup en pr\u00e9vision de mes futures aquarelles. Je visualise et cadre en cons\u00e9quence. Dans mon studio, je r\u00e9vise et travaille la composition avant de faire le dessin final sur le papier. Je dessine mon sujet au crayon sur du papier, j\u2019applique la couleur au pinceau directement et plus librement, puis je pr\u00e9cise les d\u00e9tails. Les qualit\u00e9s de l\u2019aquarelle sont la spontan\u00e9it\u00e9, la fra\u00eecheur, la transparence, l\u2019\u00e9clat et cela doit se refl\u00e9ter dans le tableau final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Watercolor, a medium that I have chosen for artistic expression, allows the creation of luminous, spontaneous and vibrant paintings. My watercolors capture the emotion of the moment, felt in front of the subject and sometimes evoke other emotions similar or specific to those who look at them. My approach is simple and intuitive, I let myself be touched by the beauty that surrounds me. I am particularly interested in light and its effects, strong contrasts. My favorite subjects are landscape, whether intimate or grandiose; street scenes, tranquil or lively and playful; the architectures and everything that attracts my attention and piques my curiosityI work in my studio from photos I take myself. When I travel, I photograph a lot in anticipation of my future watercolors. I visualize and frame accordingly. In my studio, I review and work on the composition before making the final drawing on paper. I draw my subject with a pencil on paper, apply the color with a brush directly and more freely, and then I specify the details. The qualities of watercolor are spontaneity, freshness, transparency, brilliance and this must be reflected in the final painting.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:66px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
