\"\"C’est dans l’environnement enchanteur du Village des \u00c9cluses de Pointe-des-Cascades qu’avait lieu le lancement officiel de la Route des Arts de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (RAVS).\u00a0 Les organisateurs et les artistes participants \u00e0 la Route recevaient \u00e9lus provinciaux et municipaux, partenaires et commanditaires ainsi que les m\u00e9dias pour souligner la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement et remercier tous ceux et celles qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 mettre sur pied cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement d’envergure pour la r\u00e9gion.\u00a0\u00a0

Les artistes sont pr\u00eats et ont h\u00e2te de vous accueillir dans leurs ateliers la fin de semaine du 24 et 25 septembre prochain de 10h \u00e0 16h.\u00a0 \"\"Vous pouvez planifier votre parcours en consultant la carte interactive<\/a> qui vous guidera vers ces ateliers. Vous d\u00e9couvrirez la qualit\u00e9 et la diversit\u00e9 des cr\u00e9ations des artistes de chez nous et vous constaterez la beaut\u00e9 de notre territoire.

Ces artistes constituent le reflet culturel de notre r\u00e9gion et nous pouvons les remercier de s’\u00eatre engag\u00e9s \u00e0 nous en mettre plein la vue pendant cette fin-de-semaine de d\u00e9couvertes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DES PARTENAIRES IMPORTANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un \u00e9v\u00e9nement pour la r\u00e9gion de Vaudreuil-Soulanges qui ne serait pas possible sans le travail d\u2019une \u00e9quipe qui a mis sur pied les assises de cette activit\u00e9 culturelle.  En constituant l\u2019OSBL et sa structure, en planifiant l\u2019appel de candidature et le processus de s\u00e9lection, en \u00e9tablissant des partenariats et obtenant des commandites sans lesquelles l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement ne serait pas possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les partenaires \u00e9taient au rendez-vous en commen\u00e7ant avec le CACVS qui nous a fourni \"\"\u00a0renseignements et conseils pour nous aider \u00e0 d\u00e9marrer et nous implanter.\u00a0 Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur programme d\u2019innovation culturelle et num\u00e9rique (PICN) nous avons pu fournir \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement une identit\u00e9 et une signalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De plus, le CACVS a octroy\u00e9 aux artistes et artisans une subvention \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 50% des frais de participation pour les aider financi\u00e8rement \u00e0 participer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"D\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique Vaudreuil-Soulanges (DEV) est un organisme r\u00e9gional qui nous a \u00e9paul\u00e9 lors de la constitution de l\u2019OBNL, l\u2019aide qu\u2019ils fournissent aux entreprises de la r\u00e9gion est b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour l\u2019activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique et touristique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leur aide financi\u00e8re et professionnelle nous permettra de nous ancrer et de fournir une offre culturelle structurante et p\u00e9renne pour la r\u00e9gion. Cette aide nous aidera \u00e0 structurer l\u2019offre pour permettre aux artistes et artisans d\u2019avoir cette vitrine et d\u2019autres en devenir, pour les aider \u00e0 continuer \u00e0 pratiquer leur art.  On oublie souvent que ces artistes et artisans sont des travailleurs autonomes qui contribuent \u00e0 l\u2019apport \u00e9conomique de la r\u00e9gion et ils la font rayonner au-del\u00e0 de nos fronti\u00e8res de part leur originalit\u00e9 et leur talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"The organization of the Arts Tour of Vaudreuil-Soulanges held its launch on the premises of the enchanting Village des \u00c9cluses in Pointe-des-Cascades. Artists, artisans, elected officials of the municipal and provincial governments, sponsors and the press were greeted to find out more about this important cultural event for the region. \u00a0The celebration also served to thank everyone who made this event possible.\u00a0\u00a0

Artists and artisans are ready and are anxious to welcome you in their studio during the weekend of September 24 and 25 from 10\u00a0:00am to 4\u00a0:00 pm. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"You may plan your Arts Tour by consulting the interactive map<\/a> which will guide you to the various studios.\u00a0 You will be amazed by the diversity and quality of the artwork from local artists and artisans you will discover as well as the beauty of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.

These artists constitute the richness of our regional cultural print and we can thank them for their commitment which will make this weekend of studio visits an experience we will not forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This regional event would not have been possible without a dedicated team who has worked to build the foundation of this cultural organization.  It started out with the creation of a not-for-profit organization, the call for artists, the selection process, the establishment of relationships with other regional organizations and securing funding which made it possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assistance of major regional organizations such as the CACVS which provided information, help and funding\"\" enabled us to complete the start up and the implementation of the RAVS.\u00a0 \u00a0The grant given through the Programme d\u2019innovation culturelle et num\u00e9rique (PICN) made it possible for us to develop our image and acquire signage which we will use now and in future editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CACVS has also funded artists and artisans the equivalent of  50% of the participation fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique of Vaudreuil-Soulanges (DEV) is a regional development agent in the community, \"\"the team at D\u00e9veloppement (DEV) Vaudreuil-Soulanges provided professional services free of charge to assist us in our startup and planning for future edition.\u00a0 This assistance is beneficial for economic and tourism development in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have also provided funds which made it possible to implement the pilars of the event and offer structured cultural activities this year and for many years to come.\u00a0 Their assistance will help us position ourselves to continue to provide perenne events providing artists and artisans of the region a solution to showcase their artwork and performances. We often forget that these artists and artisans are self-employed workers that contribute to the economic activity of the region. \u00a0They also bring notoriety to our region by the originality of their work and their talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
