Bio
I started oil painting in 1991. My teacher at the time was Tanya Axiuk, a well-known artist who had her own gallery and school in Pincourt. Later I studied with Rita Shellard, a well-known artist from St Lazare. As I wanted to paint animals, I studied with Manon Labelle, an animal painter in Pincourt. Later, I took classes with Carlo Consentino, a professional artist on Île Bizard, to improve my light and shade. I also studied with Isabelle Turcotte for two or three sessions. I also took part in several creative workshops. Even after all these years, I'm still painting and improving.
Approach
Originally from Rigaud, I've been developing my talent for painting for over 30 years. My canvases are full of emotion, passion and love...
Oil is my favorite medium. I'm sensitive to everything that has to do with the beauty of nature. I've experimented with other mediums and techniques, including acrylic, watercolor, wipe out, faux stained glass paint and ink and alcohol.
Passionate and sensitive, I want my work to reflect my individual interiority and simplicity.
