What is the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Studio Tour (RAVS) ?

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Studio Tour is a not for profit organization dedicated to the promotion and showcasing of artists and artisans of the region. We seek artists and artisans from all areas of the arts, visuals arts, fine crafts, musicians, performing arts, literature, and media arts. We organize annual events such as a studio tour during which chosen artists and artisans greet visitors in their studios. This event is an opportunity for artists to show and share their artwork and creative processes, as well as for visitors to discover the cultural diversity offered in this region.

Who is involved??

We are a group of 7 artists and passionate of the arts who make up the Board of Directors who work at making this event possible. We also work with collaborators and volunteers to set up all that is necessary to make the event happen. Our objective is to offer an innovative event to showcase the diversity and quality of art forms being practiced in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.

How is the event organized??

Every year, a call for artist is published inviting interested individuals to apply. A selection committee reviews the applications and makes a choice amongst the applicants to offer a diversified, most interesting tour to spark the visitors curiosity.

Once the artists and artisans chosen, the organizers plan the year’s activities and publicize the events involving the group of artists.

Call for applications

The call for applications is made every year and announced by newsletter and social media. We invite artists from all fields of the arts - visual arts, fine crafts, music, performing arts, media arts and literature - to apply to be part of the Route des Arts.

We're looking for recognized, experienced craftspeople and artists who have mastered the techniques of the art they practice, who have a passion and a desire to share it, and whose work arouses interest and even emotion.
