Bio / Approach
Of the many passions in my life, Art and Engineering are the most prominent.
J’ai bâti ma carrière dans l’industrie aéronautique/aérospatiale, essentiellement en créant et en comprenant comment les choses fonctionnant (ou ne fonctionnant pas), et comment les choses sont fabriquées, en utilisant différents matériaux et processus.
At the core of my artistic skills is a good understanding of drawing and classical/Renaissance art, which I then use to explore other styles.
My sculptures combine my two passions: my love of art and my love of making things in 3D.
I appreciate how a sculpture has no boundaries; it welcomes many other art forms and media (Painting, drawing, textile, design, etc); It becomes a component of the space (inside or outside), and extends into the human, 3-dimensional world we live in.
